Ticket Types
Most operators offer adult and child tickets (e.g. 5–15 years). Under-5s often travel free. Family tickets (e.g. 2 adults + 2 or 3 children) usually work out cheaper per person. Senior or student rates may be available; check the booking site when you purchase.
Validity is typically 24 hours or 48 hours from first use. A 48h ticket suits anyone staying two days and wanting to spread sightseeing. Compare the price difference: often the second day is only a few pounds more. Use the route map and stops list to plan how many stops you will use.
Typical Price Bands
Prices are indicative and can change by season and operator. As a guide: adult 24h tickets are often in the mid-teens (e.g. £14–18), adult 48h in the low twenties. Child tickets are usually around half the adult price. Family tickets (2+2 or 2+3) can save roughly 10–20% compared to buying separately. Booking Online vs On the Bus
Booking online in advance is usually cheaper than buying on the bus and guarantees your place in busy periods. You typically receive a mobile or printable ticket to show when you board.
